It features a unique color fade with a dusky hue at the upper bout transitioning into an amber shade below the soundhole and then to a translucent golden glow at the lower bout that highlights the tight, straight grain of the Sitka spruce soundboard. Pairing a solid torrefied spruce top with layered sapele back and sides in a matte-finished body yields a bold, clear response with a splash of played-in sweetness right out of the box. Together, the scaled-down Grand Symphony body, slim Taylor neck and 23-½-inch string scale length deliver a fun, comfortable playing experience.
