Description
The Magician is voiced to make your amplifier stand out. It is based on pure tone and reacts vibrantly with your current guitar rig. The pedal doesn’t use a clipping diode circuit but instead obtains its drive from the opamp itself. Think the best of the 1970s and 1980s rolled into one rock platform. Kiss, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Yes, and the list goes on. Completely sensitive to your guitar volume, it lets you dial up the perfect level from well below unity gain to a significant boost. The Attack control allows you to control the harmonic content of the overdrive, while the Gain control lets you find a level of distortion from low gain crunch to totally over the top as needed. The Tone control lets you dial in the highs to where it sounds best and makes your guitar truly sing. This pedal also features a second gain stage that lets you engage or disengage the lead boost function, designed to let your solos really stand out.
