Limited Edition Holden Village GS Mini

Overview:

- Model: Holden Village GS Mini
- Edition: Limited Edition
- Product Type: Acoustic Guitar

Description:
The Limited Edition Holden Village GS Mini represents an unprecedented collaboration between guitar makers and non-profits to create a beautiful instrument that honors nature and helps to bring clean drinking water to those in need. This collaboration developed at the intersection of several stories: the story of an old copper mine high in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State and the effort to rehabilitate a damaged ecosystem, the story of the identification and preservation of irreplaceable old-growth tonewood, and the story of human commitment to sustainably provide for our future needs while giving back to the global community.

Features:
- Top Wood: Old-growth Engelmann Spruce
- Back & Sides Wood: Big Leaf Maple (Fiddleback Maple Veneer)
- Unique Attributes: Each guitar is made from wood that has been carefully sourced from sustainable and environmentally rehabilitated areas.

Tonewood Details:
- Engelmann Spruce: Prized for its warm tone and quick response to a light touch, Engelmann spruce trees are increasingly rare due to their sensitivity to fire, disturbance, and disease.
- Big Leaf Maple: The back and sides feature a striking veneer from a single Big Leaf maple tree, renowned for its beautiful "fiddleback" pattern.

Environmental and Social Impact:
This guitar is not just an instrument but a piece of a larger mission to clean up Holden Village and support global clean water initiatives. A significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of this guitar will go to organizations such as Living Waters for the World and El Porvenir, in addition to Holden Village. All wood used in the making of this guitar and the efforts to transport and mill it have been donated to support these causes. Hundreds of trees in the valley forest are now gone, and a new river runs through it. A fraction of a percent of that wood, only the best, was harvested for this project. Through your hands, this forest will sing again, and you join others in our global community, participating in an effort greater than any of us individually.
